Emma joined Stars in May 2014 to support the Communications and Marketing Manager in delivering the Foundation's communications and marketing strategy. In January 2017 she was promoted to the position of Communications and Marketing Officer.
Prior to her roles with Stars, she held marketing communications positions with not-for-profit organisations including SOS Children, English Heritage and Cambridge University. Emma has also volunteered and interned with charities such as Peace Direct, Camfed UK and Doctors of the World UK.
Emma has lived and worked in Spain, South Africa and Mauritius and holds an MA in Conflict, Governance and International Development from the University of East Anglia, a BA (Hons) in English from Loughborough University and a CAM CIM Diploma in Marketing Communications.
