The With and For Girls Collective is proud to announce the recipients of the 2017 With and For Girls Awards.
The following 20 girl-led and girl-focused organisations are being recognised for their work to improve the lives of girls all over the world. Award winners work on a variety of thematic issues and have demonstrated strengths in engaging girls in governance, programme design and decision-making to ensure that their work really is girl-led.
Winners of the With and For Girls Awards receive flexible funding of up to US$50,000 and capacity building support. They will also join an existing network of inspiring past award winners, funders, organisations and individuals from the girls’ and women’s rights sector. All 20 award-winning organisations will be celebrated at an awards ceremony in London on 14 November.

Between them, the 20 With and For Girls Award recipient organisations work directly with 84,888 people and with 1,170,185 indirectly. The 20 organisations were chosen out of a long list of 191 organisations nominated by 67 referral partners, and 46 shortlisted organisations from across 33 countries.
Winners receive between US$15,000 and US$50,000 in flexible funding and capacity building support.
The With and For Girls Collective is a group organisations with a track record of supporting civil society organisations working to improve the lives of girls and their communities. Together, we champion the collective action of girls. We believe that when girls organise, they and their organisations can play a leading role in transforming societies and building gender equality.
